These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of resin art pieces from Anissa Martinez Art ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"). By making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing your transaction.

All Sales Final

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the handcrafted, artisanal nature of our resin pieces, each sculpture is unique and created specifically for you. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances, except in cases of damage during shipping (see Damage Claims section below).

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this all-sales-final policy.

Handcrafted & Artisanal Nature

Each piece created by Anissa Martinez Art is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. Variations in color, texture, depth, and finish are inherent to the creative process and are not considered defects. These variations are what make each piece unique and valuable as art.

Minor imperfections, including but not limited to slight surface variations, subtle color shifts, or minor texture differences, are normal and expected characteristics of handmade resin art. These do not qualify for returns or refunds.

Understanding Resin Art: Characteristics & Longevity

Natural Aging & Patina

Resin is a living material that evolves over time. Like fine art, your piece may develop a subtle patina or slight color shift as it ages. This is a natural and expected characteristic of resin and is not a defect. The aging process can add depth and character to your sculpture, enhancing its beauty as it matures.

UV Sensitivity

Resin can be sensitive to prolonged direct sunlight. To preserve the color and appearance of your piece, we recommend displaying it away from direct UV light or using UV-protective glass if displayed near windows. Fading or color changes due to sun exposure are not covered under any warranty or damage claim.

Environmental Factors

Extreme temperature fluctuations, high humidity, or very dry environments may affect resin over extended periods. We recommend storing and displaying your piece in a climate-controlled environment (between 60-75°F with moderate humidity) for optimal preservation.

Care & Maintenance

To care for your resin art, dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture. Do not submerge in water or expose to prolonged humidity. Please refer to our Care Instructions page for detailed guidance.

Damage Claims During Shipping

We take great care in packaging your piece to ensure safe delivery. However, if your item arrives damaged due to shipping, you must report the damage within 7 calendar days of delivery.

To file a damage claim:

  1. Contact us at collabwanissa@gmail.com with photos of the damage
  2. Include your order number and date of delivery
  3. Provide clear photos showing the damage and packaging
  4. Keep all packaging materials for inspection

Claims filed after 7 days will not be accepted. We reserve the right to investigate all damage claims and may request additional documentation. Approved damage claims will be resolved at our discretion, which may include a replacement piece or refund.

Shipping

US-Only Shipping: We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.

Intellectual Property Rights

All designs, photographs, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Anissa Martinez Art. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without explicit written permission. The purchase of a physical artwork does not grant you rights to the design or intellectual property associated with that piece.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anissa Martinez Art shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued purchase constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
